In or around 2014 i had pissibly THE very best 5 season sleeping bag ive ever owned, i just can NOT for the life if me remeber what it was! I gave up looking and got a Fortis 5 season, and im sorry but its utter garbage. The guys at fortis from the videos i sent them thought it didnt look right and sent them off to snugpak who have said its fine! Belive me its the WORST sleeping bag if thats the case. The inner lining is smooth, just what i wanted as i hate bing stuck to the bag, but its that loose it tangles you up, once in the bag you cant zip it to the top and every time you move (you have to to untangle your self) the zips fly open, meaning if you move in the night you get freezing cold. There is no central stap, just a hood on the head and foot to attach it to your bed so it moves in on its self, its aweful. I did one night and had to come home from a planned week long session. A waste of £260
Anyway, i digress. The bag i had was awesome, it wasnt form one of the main brands, it was dark blue or even very very dark green, had an amazing draw cord arround the neck and also one at the head whitch created a kind of hood. It was waterproof and had a smoth lining. Im not sure but it could of even had a cut away for it your face and the bag go arround your shoulders. It remided me alot of the carp spirit bags, but its not that. It was also slightly mummyfied just slightly. Ive no idea how to find it, if anyone has the slightest idea let me know! I think i got it from Fosters or Erics, im woth same from Erics this week so can ask him.
Failing this, im looking for a roomy bag to fit a standard bedcair. I can not use a sleep system as they are too tight arround my feet and spending so long on my sessions it drives me crazy. Any recommendations? It must be waterproof also.
Any revews of the gardner bag?
