Hoping someone can point me in the right direction ....

I'm taking a few friends fishing over the winter . Only day sessions . I'm looking for somewhere with a decent chance of a bend in the rod .

I did see moreton fisheries and thought this could be worth a look , does anyone have any experience of here in the winter or have any other suggestions ?

Iv heard of people recommending this place before come to think of it. What sort of size fish can you expect here ?

used to be a noddy water rammed with pasties and a few doubles and tip anglers dropping their feeders by your feet from opposite. was a few years ago so may have changed

It's not that bad anymore.

I did a long weekend there and was happy.

Mainly mid to low doubles and the odd large bream.

Could try the speci pool at Old Hough. Not tried it myself, but plenty of lads in the Carp & Catfish North forum go there.
