After another set of alarms but budget is only £150ish. The Sonik Gizmos have caught my eye, has anyone got them and give some feedback as to what they think of them.

No experience of these but for the budget you could get some time tested second hand alarms - atts - sirens etc.
I am always weary of alarms that try and do too much and have a new model every year.

Hear what you're saying about the bells and whistles but I'm also wary about buying alarms second hand. You never really know what you're getting and there's a suspiciously high number of alarms that have 'only been used a couple of times' (hopefully not such an issue when buying off the forum!)

Not got to the gizmos but my son's just got a set of to he r Prolific smx custom blacks they are very nice 👍 for around 140

Yeah, I have a set of the standard SMX and they do everything I want them to (except scream off with a fish). Had them a few years now so reliable too.

I've had a set for a couple of years and no complaints, The bivvy light that comes with it is a game changer imo lights up when you get a run, No fiddling around in the dark looking for the headtorch, Battery life excellent also
