I remember seeing a advert/video a few weeks ago for a rucksack where the external pockets unclipped from the main body but for the life of me I cannot remember who made or done the advert, I have checked the obvious ones like carpology for reviews and searched angling direct/Johnson ross websites and gone through all the manufacturers but can't find it. Has anyone seen anything like it or did I have too many beers when I was on the Internet 😁

There is a specific term for that I believe,try looking at army surplus/survivalist sites and see if there is further information there.

Nash used to do a system which had clip on pouches as did chub

Avid compound as mentioned below has all different size pouches which can be clipped to the sides of it via webbing.
