At the age of 85 my old man is unfortunately on his way out and he's expressed a desire for a bit of fishing with me which is bizarre as he's never really fished his whole life (since introducing me to it at the age of 5)
Need an easy day ticket with accessible swims (pref park your car behind / disabled swims if poss) stuffed full of doubles and that has toilet facilities and zero (or minimal) dickheads.
Moved to the Midlands from the Colne Valley nearly 30yrs ago so have no idea these days other than the obvious big fish circuit waters - only lake that fits the bill / I have vague knowledge of is Woodlane Leisure (if its still going?) in Iver - any other reccomendations?

Farlows lake 2? literally pull up behind the swims, by the cafe and toilets.
Wouldn't have a clue how easy it is these day though as haven't been down for years.
Wood Lane is still there though, and is what you are pretty much after.

Did you read the line re minial dickheads lol . . .Farlows = no chance - Little Britain round the corner maybe but would prefer a 'commercial mixed fishery' (of which we have donkey loads here in the midlands) so we can float fish as well if necessary
Pls remind me but are banks at Wood Lane a bit steep / pegs small? This could be an issue as hes a bit frail . . .

Unfortunately, I think you will find them at any day ticket style lake you are looking for.
Little Britain being even more public than Farlows...i would avoid even more!
Can't help with the Wood Lane answer as i have never been there even though it's within half an hour of me. (not my cup of tea) I know people that have been there recently which is how i know it's still open.
Lizards by Thorney Weir? gets or got busy, probably a few idiots but tuck yourself away and you will catch loads on all sorts of methods. Haven't been for years so not sure it's even still going but might be worth a look? They are holes in the ground..

None are my cup of T - would rather fish the free stretch of the Colne that runs alongside Little Britain!
Just need an easy access hole in the ground for a days easy fishing -!

Lizards midweek even just for a few hours on the left hand lake should do the trick then.

I'd go for Lizards - the lake by the cafe and pay machine would be my suggestion. Parking right by the lake and plenty of fish.
