has anyone OWNED AND USED both the earlier version and the new v2 ?
I am particularly interested in the grip !!
as I have a pair of the originals that replaced my beloved but dangerous Crocs and found the grip to be light years better but dont know if I should grab a second pair while there are still a few pairs about
if the Weave 2 is not as good as they have changed the sole pattern significantly

they've stopped making my slip on crocs so I'm interested in these also

I think I have the Mk2 weaves. I was kind of hoping they'd replace my sawn off
wellies that I use to slip on when a run occurrs, and step out into the water if the margins were shallow to net fish during the warmer months.
Sadly they didn't live up to MY expectations as I don't think they were made for the purpose I use them for. Insole came away first dunk, soles are cracking, and shoe takes a while to dry.
Grip wise, I can't really comment on as I'm on gravel. Shouldn't think they'd be less grippy than a trainer.

Had both versions. Grip wise, i honestly cant say i have noticed any difference or really been in a situation where i have needed grip. Never gone over on my bum in wet weather anyway.
What i will say tho, the mk1 had crap insoles. Both came away after a few weeks. The Mk2's have so far lasted much longer but i will say that they make my feet absolutely stink as i wont wear socks with them.
Ended up buying a pair of Skee-tex Moochas so i have no more stinky feet, they dry quickly if i need to get in the water and havent slipped over yet but then again it has been bone dry for months.

The grip is good Gerry. As a slight alternative take a look at the Fox version. I liked my Navitas ones so much I wanted to get a 2nd pair to use around the house but couldn't get my size so ended up with a pair of the Fox version that are reduced at Johnson Ross. Almost identical and the grip is very good on them, definitely better than the Navitas ones I have

I tried them on and found that now they have changed the Inersole your toes go over the end of the sole making them very uncomfortable, it creates a ridge under the end of your toes
Luckily I managed to get new a pair of the originals which are much better imo
My advice would be grab a pair of the originals before they are all gone

thanks for all the reply's folks think Im going to try and get a 2nd pair size 10 of the originals
there is a big difference in the soles and as I fish a slippery when wet sloping river bank grip is important

Best of luck, i have been looking on and off for a pair of the originals in a size 10 but not had much luck.
If you find anywhere that has them in stock please let me know.
The Vaas crocs seem to have the same sole as the original weaves.
