Looking to get a new bedchair and am thinking of a sleepsystem rather than a standard bedchair/ sleeping bag. Can anyone reccomend a decent system, mainly for cold weather use? I would rather be hot in the summer than cold in the winter, if that makes sense
I can recommend the Nash Indulgence 5 season beds. Had a couple over the years, always fish through and never get cold.
I personally dont like sleep systems at all. I would always choose a separate bed and bag over a sleep system especially if you want something extra warm. Theres much more choice if you buy separately.
Fox Duralite, the 5 season bag is insane warm, i use the 1 season in summer and the 3 season + coveri if needed for the rest

Ditto, had one earlier this year, but, now I'm an old
duffer I found it a bit heavy, if I was as strong as I was in
my younger years this would be the one, could be too
warm.

If you get a 3 season system and buy a thermal throw for it you will have the best of both worlds . You can just sleep under the throw in the summer but be nice and warm In the winter

Nash 5 season sleep system is a fantastic design and very warm only downside is the weight. In the warmer months the system comes off and just use a cover.

What's a decent thermal cover for bags, got some thin ones but they never really done much during the colder months

I have the Trakker Big Snooze+ 3 season bag but will chuck the Big Snooze+ thermal cover on for when it starts to get a bit chilly.

Everyone rates the Gardner one but usually difficult to find one Cult tackle also make a good sherpa fleece lined thermal cover.

If the current Nash SS5 is anything like the SS3 I've got there is no way you could get cold inside the full system, as others have said it is heavy though.

This year since April I've pretty much been under the cover. The sleeping bag and voter was decently warm in frosty winter though.
Bedchair is a Solar Undercover I think, its definitely Solar. Probably the best bedchair I have ever had.
