Success can be 101 different things
One of my best memories ever was waking up in France and seeing a red squirel, 3 ft from me
Another was seeing a badger 20 ft away from me on a tiny little river at 2 am
Beat that

Never had it happen yet, but got to be Kingfisher landing on your rods! For me it's just being able to get out fishing!

I had this this other week, he dived in twice as well both times landing back on the rods, brilliant!
Got a video of it too but posting that on here is another story.

As a photographer when I go fishing I tend to go with some pretty neat camera gear so I can normally get my sights down digitally.

It was just after getting dark and I had set my rod on the pod after casting out, i was kneeled down and looked up for what ever reason and there was a owl hovering right above my head, I couldnt hear it al all. Scared me and I bet I scared it also. It was winter and I had a hood up, maybe it could see part of my face and thought I was dinner.

Giving a stranded bumble bee some sugar water so it got the energy to fly.
Simple solutions, I like bumble bees.

Remember the Passion For Angling opener?
"the secret of success is not how to catch, but how to enjoy"
Says it all for me...

One particular evening I remember hearing a bird which seemed to replicate every other birds song I'd ever heard + a few car alarm noises throw in too, crystal clear, the sound was absolutely phenomenal. After a bit of research I found that I had heard my first nightingale, will never forget that sound.
Are you sure?
