Is it worth buying these gas cartridges and fitting an adapter to suit the screw threaded cylinders. The gas looks really cheap compared to the Coleman gas or am I missing something.

I use them all through the summer (then back to my Coleman petrol stove for winter) I usually get them from B&M 4 for £5 I've got the type of adaptor that allows it to be layed flat rather than the round one's that fit on top

I didn't know there was different types of adapter, the ones I've seen are coloured aluminium that clips to the cartridge with a thread on top.

Yeah I originally tried that type but I found I had to have bottle stood up straight, I once knocked it over and the stove flared up and sounded like a pulse jet , the other type is designed to lay flat , been on eBay I've found the one's I bought in my eBay but can't find them for sale, but I've found something similar item number 174264761299, wish I could put photo's on here (I've tried before 😣 as I would send you a photo of the one's I have
