Alright guys,

I have a micro usb powered device, used to hook up to alexa but no longer supported.

What i want to do is bypass all the gubbins that made it work and talk, and have it so only the LEDs come on when connected to a power source, which will be a usb output.

Anyone on here into electronics that could offer some advice please?

Can you connect it to a PC then delete all the data, i think Acronis True image, or Wipe Disc may work if your on Windows, if you are on a Mac, Disc Utility may be your option.

Perhaps it's just me but I'm not sure what it is you are trying to achieve.
Is the USB powered device no longer supported or is it the Alexa that is not supported?
Do you want the Alexa to just show a LED and provide a USB output?
Can you reword it?
