Hi all I have owned xsb mags for over 10 years and love them but fancy a change and thinking of the Diawa 20 tournament basia 45 scw , am I being silly thinking of changing? Or is it a good idea ?
I do understand the if it is not broke don't fix it but like I say fancy a change
Would like to here your Opinions from people that may have had or still got the diawa's

I've had the original Technium 10k xt and had a set of original basia qd's which I got rid of quickly as they suffered from grit ingress and would almost seize up if fished low to the ground when it rained and was told the answer is to use a splash matt. Looked at the new tec xtd today and someone else in the shop asked about the basia you ate looking at which they also have in stock and the shop assistant said you still need to use a splash matt with them. Expect daiwa fans will love them but speaking to a few guys that service and repair reel they have said daiwa are not as well sealed as shimano.

I've had the Basiair 45 QD's and sold them. It's a backwards step, keep the XSB mags. You will regret selling those.
