i was wondering if there are any day tickets in the UK that would allow my old man to fish from his converted transit custom?

Hi Mate
Try A1 Pits Newark Notts I know they allow caravans and Campers but charge extra £10 per night have a look and ask on Fb

Chester lakes used to allow parking right behind your swim on doddleston i think, you could ring and ask...
