i have been looking at a pair of tony fordham rods from the farstrike range 12 ft 2 3/4 they look in good condition but do not know the age or if they will still be good for carp now any thoughts on them ?

They're going to be 30 to 40 years old I imagine. Sportex blanks were (are) quality but maybe worth a bash if the price is right. I defo wouldn't go over £100.

Maybe wrong but thought farstrike range went way back to 60's through to 80's when Tony was in partnership.
