I like my system but more and more I am placing 1 rod in different place on swim. Ideally I want to use the sticks and alarm / backrest.
Will the Gardner so solid point work (I think it should) are there any different / better female to spikes or any other solution ?

The Singlez system is not really designed to work separately.
If you want to place your rods in different parts of your swim you are probably better off buying some bank sticks.

If you want to use one as a single stick you can either buy 2 new spikes or you they do fit onto normal short bank sticks

Yes I want to unscrew the normal singlez stick, screw in spike and away I go. Don't want to carry round spare sticks and start unthreading things

I've never really understood exactly what they are designed to do. They seem to lack both the functionality of a pod
And the flexibility of single sticks. All at an eye watering price.

Before I got a pod I was seriously considering them. I like the way that everything lines up and you can stand on them to get them to go into the ground (having been a 6 x single sticks user and utterly fed up with it). But I can only envisage them working where the ground is flat around the swim, and the whole modular thing (as in buying so many individual bits) put me off. So a Jag Super Compact, with options as a pod, single sticks, goalpost set up and lots of adjustability won out in the end.

You're right - it's like those dragons den pitches where they scream WHY at the end.
This said just for the easy of transport and stand on ability to drive home I love em. Don't have or want the stage stands as this becomes even too ridiculous for me

I have defiant sticks with screw augers. And whilst its true you can twist them into anything. You hurt the palm
And end up a sweaty mess. I'm sure one day I will fish

And based on the monster carp program, every time you get a run the reel handle to so close to the next rod it hooks underneath and throws it all over the place.
