I'm looking for recommendations for the best mozzi zapper currently on the market?
The Wolf offering seems quite highly regarded... I'm looking for anything that might give me a bit of extra cover - I got absolutely ruined on my last overnighter

THIS is getting rave reviews and IMHO a far better bet it lasts 6 to 7 days continuous on one refil pad and 2 AA batteries
Millets doing the unit plus a pack of refills for £17.42 inc deliver BUT shop around Amazon had them discounted but last time I looked they were out of stock but may have some now ?

Wolf zapper has been great for me, I usually get battered by the mozzi's, wolf just released a new version that more than doubles the battery life as well.

Ive been using the Wolf one to, It lasts all night and it certainly works, as long as your using a mozzi door you wont attract them in.
Also during the day I have been using Mosquito Insect Repellent Stickers, I was really sceptical about these but they have been brill for the daytime.

Look on eBay and Amazon, there are plenty like the Wolfe but without the carp tax . It's only a rebadged thing anyway

I've got a Thermocell that doesn't kill them, but keeps them away pretty effectively.

I got 2 Thermocell handheld units been using for the past 11 years fantastic but the pads only last 4 hours tried all the cheap copys from china and ebay but nothing worked like the original it as you know it REPELS insects
not attract them like the light zappers
but apparently these Lifeguard units are just as effective at REPELLING INSECTS and a pad last 7 days so far far cheaper to run
I have had zapper unit for 20 years still works but heavy as hell due to taking 6 large U2 batteries hell of a crack when it gets something and burst into flames normally
The big problem with these Wolf light things is its designed to attract insects to the light
so unless your zipped up inside a mozzy screen its not much cop in an open fronted shelter it ATTRACTS insects its never gonna zapp anywhere near as much as a 100% of them
and as as fast as your zapping them more can still be attracted and fly in
give me something that repels them every time

I liked the Wolf so much I bought a second one. Now have them both in the bivvy with the front zipped up an hour before I get in there. Really happy with the Wolf and I just top them up off a mobile battery pack the next day. No more flying bug problems.

They are all the same at the end of the day mozzies are attracted to you when you breathe out. Think about the repellent your wearing and how often you are reapplying that's more important.

I'm looking at getting a bug a salt, dead flies and a bit of fun, they even do a camp version
