Has anyone had any issues with saber before? I was recommended a landing net on here by saber and my Mrs bought me it for Christmas last year. I've used it twice and on the second time (6 months after getting it) it broke. My wife has contacted them 3 weeks ago on the saber ebay page she bought it from and they haven't got back to her. She's also sent a second message out and no reply. Seems a bit strange to me..

eBay pages sometimes don't get replies, you're better off contacting them directly rather than through ebay.

How did it break
I've used really cheap crappy nets and the only time I have ever broken one is by treading on it
I never lift a net by the handle as that's always going to break
Doesn't matter if it costs £1000 or £10

I bought one as a second net from an eBay seller (world of tackle) and had a problem with the arms becoming loose in the block after about six months. It was replaced by return of post no hassle at all

I netted a carp in it in the water and then it snapped between the handle and the spreader block. I've never had this happen to me before. I had a fox warrior for years without it braking before I eventually trod on the handle by accident. I read good reviews on here for the saber net so I'm shocked how it's broke from only my 2nd time going fishing with it.

I would think its probably had a hairline crack in it maybe from transit as they have sold lots with good reviews.

Still awaiting my reply from Saber. I certainly wouldn't recommend Sabers customer service people.

Why don't you phone them? I've always found them very helpful and my net's still going strong after 3 years. In fact, so are the ones my mates bought when they saw it! But if you've a problem, I'm sure they'll be happy to help.

£30. And still haven't had a reply after all these weeks. My wife contacted their eBay account, their website official email and I have also emailed them and added a comment on one of their posts on Facebook. They just keep ignoring us. Terrible company.
