Looking at getting the fox 2 man r series bivvy, Are they worth the money?

Had one for about 3 years now, but I got mine for a very good price with the inner dome. Not sure I would buy it at current prices though.
It's great when up, but it's not the easiest to put up. Especially in a big wind.
I would go for the tempest 2 man. Or, if you can stretch the budget, go for the tempest 150 with social cap. Johnsonross and others selling social cap for a quid with a new bivvy.

I'd agree I have the 1 man and when it's set up its a brilliant bivvy. I find it hard to set up and take down and it takes a while. Worth it for a long session but not for short ones.
If I had the money to buy a new bivvy now, I'd go for the frontier xd or trakker 150.

I have the one man for when I take the kitchen sink etc.I don't have problems with putting it up or down.. The two man is huge though. Two beds and a barrow with room for the dog and a camp kitchen I recon. If you are going for a week with the Mrs/Mr and need some space then maybe.
