How much bait would you recommend to take for 24hr.the lake not a big lake and they feed them on pellet.
Fishery advised pellet with sweetcorn and obviously I will take boilies pop ups etc! Just wondering on how much pellet to take

I've just took a **it load for a 3 day session and my mate who bought 1kg bag of mainline boilies and a tub of worms massively outfished me. A cocktail of worms threaded on to a hair rig did it. Next time....

spot on Mal,
Spam is massively under-rated, it is a great bait full of oil especially when water temps are high.

Depends on what other fish are present, my lake is crammed full of silvers. worms/mags / small particles pointless, waste of money. I just use chopped and whole boilies and some corn for colour(albeit a majority will get eaten by silvers)
