Just wondering if anyone owns the new ridgemonkey coola coolbox and has previously owned the trakker cool box if so is the ridgemonkey a lot bigger . I currently have the Trakker cool box but want one that's a bit bigger but not overly massive

The RM is 12ltr and the Trakker was 13ltr,RM are doing a bigger version apparently

Have the Ridgemonkey and also the Korda one. Sat at the pake currently and its red hot. 3 days in and my bags of corn in the cool bad are STILL frozen! This is the morning of day 4!

I've not used the RM but did from Wednesday morning to early evening friday last week with day temps from 25c to 28c. Used the korda compac cooler, put a frozen 2ltr craven Dale milk bottle one end with a very cold one next to it. Put my aqua cool bag tight to these with fruit in it and on the other side my meats and a frozen bag of mixed veg on top. When I got home the frozen milk was still ice cold with probably half of it still frozen, the meat that I hadn't used was as cols as it would have been if kept in the fridge. Expensive but I'm very happy with it so far.

Sounds good then, i have an iceytek which is too big to lug about and usually leave in car if going for longer sessions but was interested in something more portable for shorter sessions

I used to have an icey tec 25 and 40 litre and they are way to bulky for what it holds but thats due to the thickness of the walls. I sold them both and bought a yeti roadie 24 which is a much more manageable size but hold the same amount and performs just as well but its stupidly expensive for what it is and total over kill for a 48 hr session.

I have a fair few Yeti bits, and don't think they are expensive for what they are. They aren't cheap, but they are literally the best you can buy and will last for years.

Agree they make superb gear. Ive got 5 of there insulated mugs and cups and they are the best mugs you can buy, used them for years and nothing else comes close to them.
