I was trying to find out what this Nash Frostbite all season
Was rated to. Its quite heavy outer material and.not very plump
But that might be age.
Were they a good bag.?

Yes it was a good bag and.all bag fillings wil lose their loft over time.
Nothing lasts for ever. If it's now longer warm enough, get a new winter bag.

I'm wondering if I should take it to the launderette
With a big machine. Give it its first ever wash and then tumble dry. Might loft it up.

I've the Nash frostbite all season for over 15y now.
Still doing fine!
I rate it very highly! Warm enough during winter m.

I'm 55 now and feel the cold a bit more than I used to
But I fished all last winter. However I did have the brilliant
GARDNER cover too.
The bag never strikes me as sumptuous if you know what I mean. I bought my wife the big snooze plus wide 2 years ago
And it's a lot deeper and loftier. Mine is is a lot flatter and harder.
I also sleep clothed. In winter I will get in the bag with joggers and a snugpak softie on. But I'm in and out a lot. I mostly do 24 hour sessions so I'm.not really bedding down for.a kip.

The All Season was double layered, well at least mine is. Two sets of zips, crash in the top layer for summer, or the lower layer in winter.
If you've only one layer, I'd guess it's a 4 season. Mines as good now as it was new

Yep mines still going strong from the day I bought it fished last winter without the top section on and was still toastie dont think I'll ever need to get rid tbh unless it falls apart

I just weighed it on my Ruben's and then converted.
Bag is 4.5 kg
Amazingly the nash Brrowlogic wide sleeping bag
Holdall is 3.2 kg. Just the holdall lol
Mind you it's built like a tank.
So I can ditch that
now that I have a bed that can fold with a bag. That twice the weight saving of swapping to a snugpak

Never realized till today, what a stupid name for a sleeping bag that's supposed to keep you warm, sounds like you will get " Frostbite" in it regardless of what season it is.
Has it got a freezer built in it. Maybe it would have been a top seller if it had this year, you could have sat out in the midday Sun in it drinking hot cups of tea to try and keep warm with just your head poking out with a woolly hat and scarf on whilst everyone is stripped off trying to keep cool and cooking in their own lard.
If this goes above your head, I've had too many beers is my excuse and in a jocular mood.

Frostbite was a great bag and I'd keep it If I were you
Greta bag and if I remember correctly they aren't fleece lined ?
That's the Beauty about the snugpak for me and it's a hell of a lot lighter than the frostbite
