I'm looking to take my friend, a relative angling novice carp fishing for a 48 hour session 3rd weekend in August.
We are in North Herefordshire and are looking for somewhere no more than 90 mins drive away. Need a double swim as will be sharing a bivvvy. Not after record breaking fish and more important to catch than dream of potential 40lbers. Don't need a load of facilities but a decent toilet would be welcome as would a reasonable price and that's about it.

Biddlestone will tick many of those boxes for you mate. Also worth looking at Cefn Mably coming south. Not sure of options north but Shropshire has plenty of waters so I'm sure someone from that way can point you in the right direction

Froggats specimen pool just south of Ludlow? if your North Hereford I would imagine you know more about the place than me, I personally do not know too much about it only that a lad I know has fished it a few times and them to mid 20's couldn't tell you if there is a double peg etc... I believe there are some facilities not much on their website other than swims/pegs for the specimen pool are advised to be booked, but night fishing is more for the regular anglers never know might have availability.
