Has anyone posted a Bedchair

I have an ELS bedchair I want to send to a mate and want an idea of the cost ? and who do you use Hermes ? or ???

Weigh it then look on royal mail. Probably better asking around if anyone knows someone with a courier account.

First thing is to package it up like it's glass, then weigh and measure it so you can get quotes off of courier websites.

I usually use Hermes as they offer collection from your house for bigger items as an extra cost but it's not expensive.

Or if it's a friend, maybe meet halfway for a beer 🍺

Be prepared for a shock.

The cost of fuel its just not worth driving anywhere to buy or sell something these days

I tend use Parcel2go or Parcelmonkey to find the best price when sending stuff. Obviously you play courier version of russian roulette when deciding who to actually use to send it with but touch wood I haven't had any issues to date.

Don't use Hermes /EVRI as their now known their the worst of the worst along with Yodel/Collect + . I've seen good reports paisley freight are good prices for bigger items look up their website

Gerry as said parcel up take dimensions height width depth weigh it then go on interparcel with ups.As said not cheap but i find ups the best for sending out rods and blanks etc.

I have gone with interparcel they use Parcel Force 48h they will come here and collect it !!
and deliver it the 156 miles away for £38.62 very happy with that

OF COURSE
should of said it would be even cheaper if I dropped it off to the parcel shop but happy to get it collected with the price of fuel
