as per title.. wanna see if its possible to make remove a magnet ... make a 2 roller wheel a 1 ... potentially gauging one out with a pin / safety pin. no idea how deep the magnet sits though on the wheel

I'd probably heat it with a soldering iron then use a big powerful magnet to pull it

cheers just heating up with the solder should demagnetize one side which is the aim..

theyre only about 3mm, superglued into the recess. drill it and they usually break, then all you need do is fish the bits out

Heating a magnet above its use temperature can completely damage its magnetic properties.
Maybe it's enough do use a soldering tool and heat the magnet with it

Wouldn't removing one magnet not unbalance the roller wheel? So it wouldn't roll properly?

Wouldn't take a rocket scientist to fill the redundant magnet hole with blue tac / plasticene . a split shot or a cut off section of a bolt to balance. The weight is miniscule and the balance equation is not critical..

Wouldn't it be simpler to add weights to avoid unwanted bleeps. Or use a swinger arm indicator. What circumstances make this necessary?

Or a proper alarm where you can make adjustments according to conditions? Even the low cost alarms have that these days.

cheers all for advice ... in reality i have ordered some custom 2 magnet rollers from kudos for tlb plus alarms.. i do some work overnight trips and was toying with the original black roller dropping then to 1 magnet.. in reality this alarm suffers from a lack of wind bite/ false bite screening whereby a small creep magnet touch doesnt register.. ATTS had that technology sadly this alarm doesnt. it actually makes a differenfe to function as i have an ATTS and have compared roller movement like for like... ATTS cancels out tiny incremental magnet touches but the tlb sounds which is majorly annoying

think your probably right mate.. tbf its improved my bite indication set up as it was an area i probably needes work on. I have converted the 1 magnet roller and it does the trick.. and always have 2 magnet if i need it
