Anyone tried this to see how it compares to the original black? The discripion they give it seems very similar to the black just camo colour but the price is fairly high.

I recently bought some “SHIMANO TECHNIUM CARP LINE” from Johnson Ross at £25 a spool (got 4 spools of it) it's more black than camo though, I loved the original techinium black so thought I'd give this a try I got to admit I'm really impressed with it and can't really see the difference tbh mate

Looking at the diameter and quantity per spool on johnson Ross site it looks the same as the tribal camo stuff but breaking strains are way off. The 0.35 only has 790 metres per spool and the 0.305 has 1100 metres which from memory is very similar to the original Technium back when it came in a tin and was expensive.
