Just wondering does anyone use the Cascable app on your iPhone supposedly works as a intervalometer with certain brands of cameras if so is the app any good looking to use it with canon eos M50 mkii mirrorless camera

I use it with my M50 mk2, paid the money to get access to the 'Shutter Robot' as then the skies the limit.
You build up programs using blocks as in the pic, that's my basic self take prog. I also have others with the Exposure notched down one before a shot, then another before the next shot then back to normal etc etc
Everything can be controlled with the app using those blocks and each block's parameters are fully editable.
You also have the screen mirrored in the app so can have your phone next to you on a bucket to set it going, adjust the settings, move the focus square etc, takes a bit of getting used to at first but once you get your head round it it's great. Only thing I do is still have the screen on the camera facing me to review the shots but have the photo review in the app switched off as it holds everything up being over wifi.

Yes mate, the camera generates a WiFi network that you then connect your phone/iPad to, you can then also use the Canon Connect app to transfer pic to your phone

Just downloaded the app to have a look at, looks really good, seems to work well. Intervalometer is an extra though which is a shame but will be purchasing at some point
