I changed from syncro to OGX. It seems very supple and limp went onto the reels an absolute dream with zero twist. I've only used it for a few sessions so far but im very happy with how it's preformed

First few trips the ogx was lovely to use,the next few trips it was a nightmare.The line just decided to birds nest on a cast,the lead was mid air and it just went into a massive ball.I was lucky it was only a 2oz lead casting 60 yards,I won't switch from xt again

Xt really takes some beating. If it's wound on the spool right and looked after it's fantastic. Had so many big battles in thick weed. Locked up the lot and it's never gave up and that's the 12lb version

I switched from the synchro to ogx and it's been brilliant so far I needed a bit more suppleness due to the distances required and it casts like a dream. I tend to underfill my spools rather than overfill so the spool lip does some work so I haven't had any frapping issues so far (not saying that's the problem btw). It sinks well and is pretty tough although I wouldn't say it's quiet as tough as synchro and it's definitely a bit more visible in clear waters

I'm using it alongside syncro XT (other spools). Like them both a lot and have confidence in both.
Cracked off on the OGX yesterday tho but that was down to me being an idiot.

Been using it over a year now with zero issues, sinks well, casts well and is tough. Had Carp over 50lb in France as well as fish in the UK from snaggy waters without a problem at all.
Would 100% recommend..

I have been using the 18lb for about a year prefer it to the Syncro XT I used before think it sinks and casts better 👍
