Just bought a Lowrance Fish Hunter Pro on a whim as it was reduced. You have to download the app and create an account to do anything with it. I can't create an account, just throws an error, has anyone got one and got it to work?

Emailed Lowrance support and they have opened a ticket and will get back to me. In the meantime I have an £80 paperweight.

Are the cheaper Deepers any good? Just want to get a better idea of what I'm fishing over and what I'm feeling with the marker lead

You seem to be in bit of a rush mate

You've gone out on a whim and bought it, and just posted a ticket and not received an answer and now your asking about something else....you probably won't get an answer till next think I'd just hang fire.

There a lots of reviews on YouTube and some comparisons against deepers - I'd start there a good place to research

I've never heard of the Lowrance castable variant probably big in the US as that's where there real volume market for castable fish finders are.
