Morning all.

I'm heading off to Heron Lake beginning of September this year for the first time. I'm wondering if anyone has any tips or advice?

I've read swims 9,11,18,19 are popular spots, but I'm not sure how long ago that was written.

Thanks in advance and tight lines

If it was me I'd try and get a swim in the middle section of the lake, 7/8/9/10,18/19. Chances are they'll come past you at some point during every 24hrs. You could go at either end of the lake and have a shed load or nothing. That said if they are at the far end 13/14 I'd definitely go in there, chance of a big hit from there. If it's warm they'll be in the weed during the day, look for that in the middle of the lake. Fish for one at a time, I wouldn't be filling it in.
Are you sure?
