Did any of you use Shimano's Diaflash rods back in the day?
I'm going to look at a set but can't find any info on them.
I know they were a 90s rod but that is all.

One of my first set of rods and i loved them. A mint set was doing really good money a couple of years ago. Lovely rods with a lovely action, similar to the twin powers. I loved the purple details on them. They pop up on ebay now and again. They were shimanos flagship rod back in the day and built with fuji sic guides and a fuji hooded reel seat.

Lovely rods . I had the 12' 2lb tc for many years and sold them a couple of years ago 👌

Yes I have 6 of them 4 x 3lb and 2x 2 1/2lb I use them for piking
Still great rods
Only fault is the lacquer is peeling on them
They have lasted me over 30 years and still going strong

Nice blanks.

Had them in 12 foot 3lb test great rods.

Im looking for a good set of Diaflash Specimen.

The have a red hue, full duplon and came out same time as the bugs.
