Roughly how much line should you be able to pull through a TXI-D on the lowest setting?
I can pull around 2ft through is that normal?

Its not a roller wheel so it doesnt adjust the sensitivity in relation to how much line is pulled through. Its more to do with the vibration the moving line creates, so if you pull it slowly, it wont register much, but if you pull it aggressively, its should register more often

My mate has bought some alarms on eBay and they seem to be not working correctly.
Factory reset all alarms
Alarm 1 R turned all the way to the right and you can pull line through it with no beep.
Got to turn it to half way ish before it's starts beeping.
Alarm 2 the same
Alarm 3 R doesn't make a difference just stays at the same sensitivity.
What are the chances of all not working how they should?

Sensitivity is via the buttons now if I remember right. Wheels do volume and beep speed

I would tell him to contact delkim and ask them. I cant remember what mine were like when i got them, ive changed the beep speed etc on mine
Has the previous owner had the dials off maybe and put them on wrong or even broken them whilst doing so?

Beep speed is via buttons, the R dial is called something other than sensitivity though now, begins with R, but for the life of me cant remember what it is called

We have tried everything to be honest.
All settings are the same on all alarms beep speed, response etc but they are not all responding the same.
Even tried new batteries

For most carping situations I have the R dial turned about 60 degrees clockwise - with beep speed set at factory settings this seems to be the best 'general' sensitivity setting that negates other alarms going off on the buzz bar / rain drops etc. You can 'pull' an amount of line without it sounding but when you get a take (and I always fish tight clutches) you'll know about it . . .if they don't operate like this then def send them back
