I ve promised my son that i will get him a new bedchair for his birthday in early June
I was wondering what you think are the best ones.Have you changed yours for a much better one ?
I've had mine for around 15 years now so really dont know whats out there no more
He's 6ft 4in tall and suffers badly with back problems.
I dont mind paying top money but i would like to think im getting exactly what im paying for .

Solar sp ctech bed is very well regarded, i have one and love it. My only gripe is the sleep system is too warm in all but the coldest condistions

Thanks for that. I've just been looking at it and it looks pretty good to me. Especially with the extra lumber support.have you got the extra wide one?

I suffer to but love my mf60 weights a bit much but if your not a mobile anglers it's not so bad. Oh I'm 6ft 2in

I am a similar height to you son, I use a Wychwood Tactical bedchair with a self inflating mattress.
The bedchair has a stiff webbing section in the middle to provide additional back support. It also means the be bedchair will last longer than most on the market as the middle section wont stretch out due to the elastic. Also only weighs 7kg so nice and lightweight.
On top of the bed I have a Mountain Equipment Helium 3.8 mattress, it gets very highly recommended on this forum and rightly so, it is incredibly comfortable.
Whole setup probably cost about £160 and I sleep like a baby on the bank, infact better than I do in my bed at home!

I previously had a avid benchmark and whilst comfortable it weighed a bloody ton. Now have the Wychwood tactical and it's nice and comfy but very light

Have the same Wychwood Tactical & SIM set up in both Standard and Compact sizes - and whilst its certainly not as comfy as my bed at home (sorry but no bedchair is unless you sleep on a really cheap matress) its the most comfy set up I've ever had . . .

I just got the standard one, im a big lad (in the wrong ways lol) and fit fine, sometimes think i should have got the wide but that would probably have been too big

Only just got the solar ch08 bed. Very comfy and supportive. Just needed a better pillow can't lay to flat. Me old bed had a big built in one.

I got the Solar CH08 a couple of weeks ago. Used it for two nights so far, and it's pretty comfortable. Standard width, and I'm the wrong side of 17 stone

6ft 17 stone here... I have the Nash Wideboy (not Indulgence) and it's an absolute dream.
