I need to get a support rod for a framed rucksack replaced. It needs a screw thread in each end. Does anybody know somebody who might make metalwork of this kind? KL Spares can't do it. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Try a local metal fabricator/engineering shop.

Depending on size could you not use ‘threaded rod' and just cut length yourself.

For me has to be Keith at Trident. Had my pod over 15 year still like new.
