Hi all, surprised not to find any threads on Sandhurst in Yateley. I have viewed quite a few videos on youtube (plenty of them) but always good to get info from anyone who has fished it recently. Seems to me from the online videos that the majority of fishing is solid bag work and not fishing with a heavily baited approach.
Anyone who has fished it recently or in summer last year comment on what was working/not working. Got a trip coming up soon so good to get some insights.

Fished it last year and our group had a belter, 70 fish 5 nights, stupid amount of 30s and 4 40s came out. Fished it this year with a mate for 48 hours and found out they've put 40 stockies in 10 to 15lb, I had a stockie and bloke next to us had 12. my mate is on an exclusive next Sunday for 5 nights so I will report back how they've done. Solid bags do well. On there and that's what I would defo start with and go from there

Nice one Rich, good insights. I am on next month so will also post how we get on. Will also be keen to know if they have spawned yet.

13 of us fished it end of April, fished were should tight in front of peg 12 and 11,i think they had over 20 runs each over the weekend....but alot were stockies...I would double or even treble the amount of stockies in there to what they claim to have put in. I fished second pipe and didn't see 1 fish in the bay all weekend..I looked everywhere and you usually see them if theyre in the open water.
odd fish came out over the rest of the lake....one lad moved from peg 6 down to 19 and had a 40.8 (nigels fish maybe)
quite disapointing that a big fish water has stocked so many small fish in one go and not trickled fish in over a number of years.

It's not really a day ticket water anymore, just somewhere where groups of anglers can book up the whole lake in one hit
Great lake make sure you take a barrow as you can't drive anywhere anymore inside complex due to noddies parking their cars behind road swims(at least this was the case when i was there last)
Lake is relatively shallow majority between 5-7 feet. If you can get secrets or pipes (swim 1 or 31) you would be in for a few runs as they are both hot spots in warmer weather. Pipes i can tell you just chuck one left under overhanging tree and 2 straight out 15-18 wraps.
There is a map on carpfeed shows you all swims and decent spots to look out for.
As for bait don't do too much i always do well on small 12mm yellow pop up on ronnie rig or bottom bait over a bed of spodded boilies/pellets, weed is a minimum there. Use to do fantastic on tiger nut but thst is banned now.
Hope this helps one of the few day waters still run correctly. Every swim has ample water to fish and they always leave 5 swims free on booking system to make sure everyone has a choice the bailiffs will come and rig check so make sure you use barbed hooks and have a minimum of 1m leader or tubing as they will tell you to leave they are very strict but also very helpful
Tight lines sure you will have a good time I always do when i get down there. Shame its impossible to fish weekends there these days
