Hi guys,

Every season I'm having to change or at best, cut back on my catapults elastic - it seems to perish without reason? Cracks, gets sticky etc. weird

Anyway, I was just checking in all the usual places, eBay, AD etc., and it looks like Atomic have disappeared... have they wound up or something? I still rate their catapult as the best and I've tried out a lot of them!

If they have gone, could someone recommend me some decent elastic? I bought some exercise stuff before and it was useless! The Atomic stuff is fine but if I can't get any?

I still use my Atomic T Pult (as I rate it above all others) however the design does weirdly increase the rubber perishing when its pushed around the connection points - any decent elastic (eg ESP) will suffice but I've pimped mine with cable ties (pulled tight and trimmed) around these points that seems to extend the life of the elastic . . .do this at the pouch end as well

Also - never leave your pult in a bucket with pellets etc - keep it separate as for scientific reasons unbekown to me pellets speed up the rubber perishing . . .

Ha, what an idiot... so unlike me not to check first! Thanks mate, just ordered some spares.

I was finding it hard to find spares . I had been replacing mine yearly or less too . I finally succumbed and bought the jag pult . I haven't used it loads but to be honest I still prefer the atomic. I may order some more spares

Today I bought a couple of sets of elastic and I new pouch from Atomic directly - then I found another, unused, pouch in my bag... that'll teach me
