I own a small compact rod pod and a number of banksticks and buzzer bars. When I'm off on my travels in Europe I take the compact pod and 6 banksticks (4 banksticks for the 3 buzzerbar setup and 2 for the 4th rod.) Not having 4 rod buzzerbars.
The option would be to either buy a set of 2, 4-rod buzzerbars or something that will cater for both lakes and rivers, so a 2-4 rod setup. Basically to reduce on weight and clutter.

I'm not a tackle tart, so no Jag or Solar. Something along the lines of the JRC Euro Pod.
Does anyone use this or similar? Thanks for any advice.

Christ, playing a fish on the middle rod of a 3 rod pod is bad enough, would be worse on a 4 rod pod.

Personally. I would use a 2 x 2 rod setup or even 4 single sticks.

Thanks but I've never really found it much of a problem. When I fish the rivers or big lakes I usually spread the rods left and right or use waded out backleads. I'm also generally using a tip high rod setup and if I get a take on either of the middle rods it's easy to duck under the rod tip/line to play the fish.
2 and 2 is definitely a good alternative though!.
