Just wondering if anyone has any info on the South Lagoon at Wyboston on the Luton AC ticket? I have seen there is a 40+ swimming around in there but there is little info on stock numbers and what the lake/area is like. Thanks in advance!

I'd be inclined to give it a swerve tbh. Adjoining river has been mullered by our furry nemesis and what hasnt been eaten by them has either been reomoved by 'less ethical ' anglers or resides in the several acres that cant be reached/angled.

Whilst that maybe partly true, i did have a lovely 22 lagoon common out last year
Personally i think its a pretty unique bit of water.

Over the last 25 years or so some very nice carp have been caught, when the river floods early December into February (careful if you drive on the grass as some cars get stuck); time it tends to push the better fish up there and some stay a while, lots of the fish came from many of the lakes close to the river and some were taken from the river and put into other lakes.
Folk on their tend to keep pretty tight lipped but you can't blame them.
It's also done very well on other species with perch over 4lb, double figure zander, tench, bream and big pike so I wouldn't call it a carp water.
Fishing with power lines buzzing overhead not for everyone also.
At the end of the track past Northouse lake you have heron lake probably a few over 40 in there now though I think there is a long waiting list...
