Fished a new water 2 weeks ago a weedy ish lake had 2 fish on lead clips spinners with 10 inch ESP Booms,no idea why but I switched on to heli as my pals on them and he drops his leads on the take etc,since using them I've had 1 fish in 3 sessions using boom 7 inch spinners.Today I had some funny occurrences which sounded like aborted takes,I'm sure this is down to the amount of movement in the heli set up with the higher bead ? Lead clips I wasn't getting these bleep & stop things happening.


Anyone else had anything similar ?

just lower the top bead. if a lead clip is presenting then it isnt the kind of weed that requires a high top bead set.

Do your own thing, and only drop lead when needed, u had a result don't change and don't listen 2 sheep
