Evening all
The wife is threatening to come on a few sessions, so huddling under the Groundhog isn't really an option. Looking for peoples recommendations on a bigger 2 man bivvy as she is bound to take lots of additional junk! Want something that will stand up to rubbish British weather and be able to stand up to big winds.

On the very rare occasion that she comes with me, I use a Trakker Tempest 200 which is really spacious and 1.7m high at the door.

see if you can get hold of a 2 man prologic spider dome,proper 2 man pramhood bivvy rare as hens teeth

I bought a solar 2 man undercover bivvy last year.
Sheds of room and you can get a inner capsule if she is concerned about bugs and stuff., two beds and chairs easily and all the stuff for the dog as well. We also have a collapsible storage (similar to avid session organiser, minus the carp tax) help let them have all there crap organised.
I've had it camping a few times with her as well and its stood up to everything.
Word of warning about taking the Mrs - mine seems to want to rearrange the layout of everything in the bivvy at least twice a day for not apparent reason.

It made me realise how OCD i am about laying out my gear in my bivvy.
Literally every time i went for something it had been moved to another location. Was perfect when i went to France for a week on my own and had it all layed out as i wanted.

Me and my better half have and use a titan t2. It weighs a ton and it's pack size is huge. However the thing is a Bomb shelter, it's been absolutely Rock solid in strong winds and rain. We have a bed chair each either side of the door which leaves tons of room in the middle.
