Afternoon everyone!
It's probably been asked a thousand times so I do apologise. Has anyone got any lakes they could recommend for a weekly booking that is set in beautiful surroundings, and has a decent stamp of fish (quality over weight).
Ideally France but also not fussed if it's further afield.

You are going to get a thousand different answers with such a vague and open question. From experience I can recommend La Tremblaye (going again next year). If you want to narrow it down a bit such as max size you are hoping for, self catering or food package, if driving any max distance from port, any preference of port. Open to flying? So many variables that can narrow it down and get you some good recommendations

Thanks for reply mate!
Sorry looking back it was kinda vague. Drivable as don't fancy flying, rather use own stuff. Any port/train from south east England. Self catering. Not overly fussed to be honest just want beautiful scenery and nice looking fish.

Try Rushes Lake in Sarthe......
Electric in every swim, along with a fridge and electric kettle......
Some fabulous looking scaley fish and plenty of them
Food package is excellent too
2 hours from Caen, 4 from Calais
