Hi guys
I have a power portor xtreme , when I turn it on power indicator is green , within seconds of setting off , turns to red. Tested batteries with multi meter , all good , prestige have tested controller under batteries as well , all good .
Any ideas ??

You cannot test battery condition properly with a multimeter. State of charge yes. Take them to a battery supplier and they will be able to test on load.
Have you checked all connections are good and not corroded or loose?

How old are the battery's they could be knackered with them being sealed lead acid batteries if u go long periods of not using the batteries and don't charge them regularly like 8 to 10 weeks the batteries become knackered

Thanks guys , batteries are just over a year old , but did discover one of them a while back was disconnected, anyway, borrowed a friends battery and it worked fine , so new batteries needed , can't see prestige replacing them under warranty.

I would ask them. Batteries should last longer than a year unless you have left then uncharged out in the cold all winter.
