it wouldnt surprise me if it was a great lake...
the fact no one has heard of it, or fished it is quite a good omen

was reading around.
apparently only mainly 3ft deep around the whole lake.
Loads of little fish in it too.
sounds like a random park lake to me.

I think you may find almost everyone's heard of it not many talk about the lakes in the “valley” though

I used to be and would be tempted to rejoin if I could get a night ticket for Batchworth. Great club and some really lovely waters.
Batchworth... great lake with some cracking fish in it - carp (obviously), tench, pike.

if you join the uxbridge ticket, doesnt that give you rights to nightfish it??

fished it loads in the 90's , had a few from Tesco Bay
been out in a canoe a few times as well - yep pretty shallow and like an egg box in places.
Ski boats used to be a mare during the day and you used to get all sorts walking round at night
few good-uns in there back in the day and would love to know what its done recently............(PM Me please

I have no interest in fishing there now as moved away from the valley 20yrs ago
(used to live in Pinner and fish all round the valley)
was a few nice ones in the river and Canal as well back then -regularly saw the carp just up from the bridge over the colne by the play park
