Been doing brothers Navara up
Had Cab and everything off to shot blast chassis
Got it all back together for some unbelievable reason after everything we've done we can't get the brakes bled, pedal soft.
Even used pressure bleeder
We've tried everything and when you read forums it seems to be an issue but no one as an answer to the issue
Seemed to narrow it down to the fronts as when you clamp both flexi pipes the pedal stops solid 🤔
Both calipers have been rebuilt but nothing looks wrong
Both Hgv fitters by trade but this has us absolutely stumped
🤞 that some can help

I take it that the calipers are on they're correct sides with bleed nipple uppermost.

Have you replaced the pads or interchanged them from where they were?
I guess being fitters you know this but sometimes if the discs aren't perfect the pads move when pressure is applied and can give you a soft pedal.
Sometimes the obvious can be overlooked so just a thought.

The calipers are on right with nipple upper most, everything is ok pad wise
We've had it on some back roads and the brakes lock up
Skid marks, gap, skid marks, gap ( abs working )
Solid skid marks when abs disconnected
Pulling up straight
Just can't get a decent pedal
Master cylinder been changed and now back on old one
Mind boggling

What about the load sensing valve has that been bled?

Yes it's been bled numerous times and also put a new one to make sure it wasn't that
I've done loads of reading on forums and it seems to be a problem having a soft pedal, unfortunately his was ok before we stripped the vehicle for shot blasting
Just seems as though he's gonna have to live with it

I take it that you have bled ABS pump as well.

If you've clamped off both the fronts and it's ok then I would try one at a time to try to narrow it down. It does seem to point to something in the calliper, pad or disc area.

We've bled the abs pump the best we can ( no bleed nipple on it) but by cracking pipes open
Realising one clamp at a time makes the pedal slightly better
He been in touch with a work mate aboard who seems to think the abs pump is air locked and needs put on a computer to active the pump to clear it
The unbelievable continues 😤
