Any thoughts on these? Just bought my 13 year old a set of scope 9ft rods need reels to accompany them. My mate told me to get him some BP-6 reels but would rather spend bit more and get something i wouldn't mind using if i don't wanna lug my setup around.
After some feedback on general performance of drag etc and if size of the gt 6000 (compared to bp-6) would be balanced on a 9ft rod?
I know nothing about nash reels as only use daiwa myself but not many baby pits on the market and as these are apparently made for scopes might as well give it a go. They look the part at least.
As always any info would be appreciated

The only thing I can say about them is that some friends are really convinced that it are excellent reels.

Bought a pair on the strength of servicing a set for someone and they were really nicely made, certainly comparable if not better internally than anything at that price from the major manufacturers. 2 gripes i had in use was the line sometimes got caught on the cast back under the line clip once clipped up and the final gripe was a simple lack of torque. The ratio is a plus 5:1 would have been better as an 4.2:1 on a small rotored reel like that, for me it felt like a real shame as they were the perfect size

Thanks for the info. Does anybody know if the shimano ultegra 5500 xtd baby pit reels would go with a 9ft scope or would it be too bulky?
See they doing some great deals on them at the moment for £110 a reel which include spare spools etc
Could be a nice cheap solution but pointless if they are too big

Yep the ultegra 5500 XTD would pair up great on the 9ft rods also worth looking at the Okuma inception inc 6000 their a mini big pit size cracking reels for the money also perfect fit for 9ft /10ft rods can get 3 for £139.99 from parkfield angling

Thanks for confirming. Ive been told by tackle tavern pretty much the same but also mentioned the 5500 ci4 xtc would be the perfect fit as they are lighter.
Any thoughts. Can get them for £180 a reel which i don't mind if it ticks all the boxes. Sounds like they are a good bet and cheaper then the original nash reels I was considering
