I am thinking of buying some 10ft 3.25lb Quickdraw rods and wondered what people thoughts are of them.

I was disappointed when they came out to see they been made on the cheaper onyx blank but saying that depends what your after if your happy buying them the price is ok and drennan is behind them for me I would have a look at the sonik insurgent which are more expensive you need to see both rods to decide

There around the same price If you look on eBay lots of sellers are doing deals every day on insurgents cork handle ie 2x for £180 posted also deals on 9ft or 10 also deals on 3

Had them for a few weeks, lovely light crisp blank and very capable for a 10footer but i am a bit ocd with matching things up and all 3 had different lengths on the part protruding from the handle, glue on one reel seat collar and were just generally a bit untidy unfortunately, a mate of mine bought some at pretty much the same time and his were perfect so typical of my bad luck i think. I think if i wasn't so picky then they're very nice rods for a decent price, The net is a nice bit of kit too.

I mean nothing by this but could you afford to buy a set to use along side your infinites as you would have the best of both worlds. I use all sorts of rods depending on venues but i do love using my shorter rods, not because some say they're a fad or in vogue but simply because i like using them.

They're totally different rods to the infinities. As suggested if you can then keep both, then at least you're covered for different angling situations.

Just bought a set of 10ft 3.25, but as has been mentioned keeping my Torrix TE's so I've got everything covered. Not used in anger yet, but build, etc is spot on for a £85 rod.

Thanks for all the advice, as you suggested i will keep my 12ft's and get some short rods as well.
