Evening, what's the thoughts on grinding up shelf life boilies in advance of a session by a few days or in general?

I've got some left over sealable bags and was thinking of crushing them and keeping them for a bit as needed.

Would the air getting to the insides make a difference or as their shelf life's would they be ok?

Done it anyway. Added some sticky mix. Going to give it a go.

Maybe it's either old hat or not done so hopefully report back with a PB in a couple of days 👍

Patience not ya forte then?

Crushed preserved baits will be fine, will dry out a bit but unles you add something water based to them it'll not be effected. its the paste and subsequent solid itself that contains the preservatives not just the shell

If you can, let them drink up some quality liquids like a hydrolysate and this can onl elevate their attraction levels and wont effect there level of preservation

once you've crushed up the baits just make sure to remove the air from the bag before storing. should help to lessen the drying out.

can always re hydrate with liquids mind you if they do go a bit dry
Are you sure?

This action cannot be undone.
