2pounds and 9pence a litre ,for diesel

I've heard its as bad in Europe which surprises me that I haven't seen at least the French kicking off, they're usually the first to block the roads and kick up a a stink over rising fuel costs.
Most common working class folk couldn't even afford to panic buy it now.

They say the UK has one of the highest obesity rates in Europe so put the fuel up and get people walking.It saves lives and the environment,its a win win situation imo.Less pollution,healthier people

Couldn't agree more. Might do us all a favour.
All ready started walking to work and actually carrying my shopping back from the shops. Remember the times when we all used to do that? Saving on fuel keeping you fit.

You can be funked if I'm doing a 94 mile round trip walk to work to do myself a favour lol
I have to drive, no other feasible way to do it. It would mean a train journey into London and then back out again just to get 45 miles away. Totals 4-5hrs on a train per day and that's if they are running smoothly (highly unlikely) and probably around 8-9k pa for the privilege.
I'd happily walk to work if I could and have when I can.
Don't know the answer but walking to work is not it LOL
I can work from home 2 days per week so that does help.
EDIT: I will add that I do get all my fuel reimbursed but you still have to lay it out in the first place. That is done by mileage also, they don't give me £2 per litre of fuel that's for sure !

Long time friend of mine is a lorry driver, owns his own rig, now with increase in diesel and Londons congestion charges his having to way out 900 a week..
