Looking for a new set of alarms , any suggestions? Budget is around £200 - £250

Got some micron x which are great but I've upgraded to the rx plus. Set of three mint, used a few times with receiver and box, manual, screwdriver etc. Going to put them up for sale on here.

In that price range I think you will struggle to find anything better than the Fox mini micron X alarms

Have to agree with the others. Fox mini micron X
Volume, tone, sensitivity settings and a receiver. Great value and fox have a history of producing great reliable bite alarms.

TODAY there really is no need to get your pants pulled down as Electronics in bite alarms have come a long way
2 sets that I own in my collection and I KNOW to be excellent alarms and will do everything other alarms costing 3 times the amount will do check these out
DONT !!! be put off by the amazing price these are great alarms not like Prologic earlier ones these are far better

Realise I'm being a pedant, but I was looking at new alarms too recently so know that the Fox range are the Mini Micron, Mini Micron X, or the Micron MX (there isn't a Micron X in the current lineup).
Depends if the OP wants a radio receiver or not. If he doesn't the the Mini Micron seem a great option, if he does then there's the Mini Micron X or the Micron MX. I can't really tell what the difference is between them, bar aesthetics, for the £20 difference - so I'd think the Mini Micron X is the better option (unless someone can educate me otherwise).

The Mini Micron X has drop back differential whereas the Micron MX does not.
There are probably other things in the construction of them but in terms of features, I think that's the main difference.

So the mini micron X has a useful extra feature and costs £20 less rrp? Sounds like a no brainer to get the mini then?

Second hand sets of Nash R3s are going for about £200 - £250 on ebay. One of the best alarms on the market and plenty on there as people upgrade to the r4s.
