Just wanted to know what people use as a zig float fox and Korda are two expensive £12 for a float and you need a spare case you lose one so £24 for 2 floats

Drennan clear pike sub float alot cheaper and been using them for years to very good effect no carp tax either.

Bit of balsa dowel cut and sanded down, drilled out carefully and in-line lead insert fitted. Painted with a grey primer and then sealed with clear varnish spray. Due to how small you can make them with the buoyancy of balsa roughly works out at £1 per float or less. They don't take that long to make either.
