I've always wondered why some places have a no publicity ban , when most people know whats I'm them already.let's face most have waiting list as long as you're arm . So it ain't that such a secret is it .

Yeah I understand that , but the point I'm getting at is every f—ker knows what's in there in the first place . You don't have a waiting list as long as you're arm for nothing.

Sometimes you don't know. Often rules state No faceache, insta publicity, often only word spread by trusted word of mouth to potential members, friend to friend.
Some venues have non-publicity rules to stop disclosure of known or recognisable nicked lake, river, canal fish in said water. LOL.
99% of NB waters are heavily vetted to decrease the aggro factor, you know... only have sensible members, work partys done, etc.

Yeah I can understand the nicked fish thing, quite a lot of it went on . Not so much theses days though.

U never no I'm on a no publicity club don't bother me at all coz I catch duck all any way and when I do wheather it b a bream tench or a special fish I ain't caught nowt I've had lads walk past ask c me net mat weight sling scales out had a bream for them to go rd to me best mate who I no will say nowt who done the pics to say he's a lying gitu don't weigh bream lol it's even worse now with social media pics getting past rd we always had no publicity and so it shud b u want the fish put the time in people want no what swim what bait how many wraps where r the days of just enjoying it with gud mates this carp fishing and life ain't how we no it people want what others worked hard for at the drop of a hat rant over lol

It's done for a few reasons
1. To limit fish thefts
2. To limit poaching
3. To help security on the venues. The less people know. The less people might decide to try to have a walk around.
4. To stop the committee members being continuously hassled by people to get on a waiting list cos they've seen xyz angler on Instagram with a particularly attractive/big/special fish. Just look at what happened to the embryo broom waiting list when suddenly that 50 appeared in a few videos and that fish was known about for ages before, and that's not even got a publicity ban. Yet the list suddenly got about three hundred people added to it.
I have two non publicity tickets. I'd hazard a guess that very very few people outside of the clubs have got the faintest idea what's in them. Particularly as in my case where the venues are, if you get thrown out of a club for breaking publicity rules then I'd say it would pretty much ruin your chances of getting in any of the other clubs in the area, as so many of the clubs share members.

I'm on an NPW, unless members decide to tell no one knows what's in there and ALL members know not to tell.
No waiting list, if you knew anything you'd know the best waters dont have a list, it's invite only.
You wont see any threads on here about the country's best syndicate's (if you did there would be no replies)
You only think you know
Open forums are the last place to try and get on any top water
My water: Unless you knew a member willing to divulge the only thing you'd know is what you can get from Google Earth, there's no list , no website no contact number, nothing, keyser ****ing soze
