I'm looking to move away from a sleep system and go back to a bedchair and Sleeping bag.

I've looked at the Avid lite bedchair combined with the Fortis/Snugpak sleeping bag. Can anyway give any first hand experience? Or even recommend a different combination.

I've got a bad back and hips and I'm a side sleeper, I had the solar SP Tech sleep system and found it too firm and a little cold but I have to say it was very well made, I would have probably gone for the Avid level tech but I don't want anything too heavy.

Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks

It's a great (and lite) setup. I personally have this.
But you might want to look at the solar sp c-tech bedchair.
LOTS of people here say they are the best for bad backs.

To transform any bedchair and aching hips you need a self inflating mattress to put on your bedchair. Simple case of blowing it up to your desired comfort!

As for bedchairs, depends what you want from it as the mattress will make any bedchair you choose comfortable.......

i always add a little air to my sims ... they are designed to have air added to reach personal comfort taste
